Chair Yoga involves gentle movement, a modified form of Hatha Yoga, where physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) come together mindfully while seated in a chair. No prior experience necessary: modifications, guided instructions, and a chair will be provided. Please wear loose/breathable clothing and comfortable shoes, bring a small towel (optional) and water. Classes will be led by Chaitali Newman, 500 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor in the Pavillion Annex. Participants are welcome to park at the Pavilion Annex via Gate 4 off Kensington Avenue.A suggested donation of $5 per person per class is appreciated.
