Join us as First Presbyterian Church of Fargo welcomes the acclaimed New York Kammermusiker for two special appearances on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
The ensemble will participate in worship at 10:30 a.m. and return for a free public concert at 7:00 p.m. as part of their 19th Annual North Dakota & Minnesota Winds of Change Tour.
This year's program celebrates the musical and historical legacy of Theodore Roosevelt, whose life and influence were deeply connected to North Dakota. Audiences will enjoy a rich and diverse program spanning centuries and cultures, featuring music inspired by Roosevelt's Dutch ancestry, his love of Shakespeare, his fascination with Icelandic history and mythology, and the vibrant musical life of the White House during his presidency. The concert will include works by Tielman Susato, Henry Purcell, Amy Beach, Edward MacDowell, Claude Debussy, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Scott Joplin, and others, concluding with the stirring march, "The Great American."
