West Fargo Events and West Fargo Parks are gearing you up for a fun and educational evening at our Bike Safety Rodeo on August 10! This free, family-friendly event is the perfect opportunity for kids to learn essential bike safety skills, get their bikes tuned up, and have some fun on two wheels. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just getting started, we’ve got something for everyone.

⏰: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍: Rendezvous Park (1055 32nd Ave W, West Fargo, ND 58078, United States)
Event Highlights Include:
Bike Registration and Licensing – Get your bike officially registered by the West Fargo Police Department for free
Helmet Checks – Have your helmet checked by Safe Kids to ensure it fits properly and is in good condition. If you do not have a helmet, no problem—we will have helmets available while supplies last
Safe Riding Tips – Learn important safety tips and rules for biking on the road so you can ride with confidence
Obstacle Course – Put your skills to the test in a fun and challenging bike obstacle course designed to improve your control and maneuvering
Bike Wash – Give your bike a fresh, clean look with a free bike wash station
Free Bike Tune-Ups – Provided by FM Bike Doc
Other vendors attending include the West Fargo Fire Department, Flatland Cycling, Ducks in A Row, and Red River AMBUCS (Adaptive Bike Equipment).
Children who visit each activity station and complete their Bike Safety Rodeo Passport will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE BIKE!!!
This event is designed to make biking safer and more enjoyable for the whole family. Bring your bike, helmet, and a friend or two for an evening full of hands-on activities and helpful tips!
Don’t forget:
- Must bring your own bike
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for riding and bike activities
- All ages are welcome, and bikes of all sizes will be accommodated
