About this Event

WHERE (GAME):

As you cross the threshold into “God’s Little World,” you’ll find yourself in an enchanting realm where success is not just a goal but a journey filled with rich opportunities and transformative experiences. This is a place where challenges morph into stepping stones, and personal growth intertwines with community advancement. Engage, explore, and emerge anew, armed with insights and pathways previously unimagined.

In “God’s Little World,” every moment is an opportunity to learn, to change, and to influence. It’s a world that reflects the beauty of possibility and the power of collective endeavor. Join us in this unique simulation, where your journey towards empowerment and community betterment begins.

WHO (GAME Participants):

We invite New York’s diverse community leaders and individuals seeking to empower their lives and communities to participate in the game. This event aims to equip leaders with resources to disseminate within their communities, turning their empowered lives into beacons of hope.

WHAT (GAME Experience):

The game features:

  • An engaging introduction to fellow players and the game’s objectives.
  • Interactive sessions to explore the game’s “little world” and its resources.
  • Regular reflections on progress towards goals, fostering a supportive environment for growth.
  • A closing ceremony to honor achievements, with follow-up opportunities to assess long-term impact.
  • A forum for ongoing engagement and opportunities to share experiences on various platforms.

.

WHY (TOUR):

This tour is a call to action for New York’s religious and health communities to listen to the marginalized and to collaborate on effective, evidence-based solutions to health disparities. It’s an opportunity for those entrusted with the care of others to begin formulating actionable plans for community empowerment.

WHY (GAME):

The game serves as a powerful tool for personal and community transformation, providing participants with strategies to navigate life’s challenges. It’s about fostering resilience, uncovering hidden talents, and offering paths to a more effective and hopeful life.

HOW (GAME Participation):

The game is free and open to adults over 18, prioritizing low-income individuals and Black Catholics, although all community members are welcome to foster diversity and inclusivity. Registration is crucial due to limited space, ensuring a personal and impactful experience for all participants.

Ticket Sales & Event Guidelines

Pre-Event Survey: To enhance your experience and improve our game, we kindly ask participants to complete a pre- and post-event questionnaire. Your valuable feedback is crucial for us. A link will be emailed to you for online completion. If you prefer a hard copy, please contact us directly.

Sacred Space Policy: We cherish the atmosphere we create at our events, aiming to provide a safe, reflective space for all. In honoring this sanctity, we request that all cell phones be turned off and stowed away during the event. To respect privacy and encourage full presence, we prohibit photographs, selfies, and any form of picture-taking within the event space. However, we've designated a special area for those who wish to capture memories with photographs – the red carpet area.

We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the sacredness of our gathering, allowing everyone to carry their experiences in their hearts rather than on the cloud. As a token of our gratitude for your compliance, door prizes await those who partake in this digital detox.

Thank you for helping us foster a memorable and transformative event.

Please note that the event date and time are currently tentative and subject to confirmation. We are in the process of finalizing arrangements with our venues to ensure the best possible experience for all attendees. Should there be any changes to the schedule, we will notify all registered participants well in advance to accommodate any adjustments. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to create an unforgettable event for you.
