*NEW TIME* Hike to Yoga x MUSTARD DESTRUCTION

We are so excited to have our FIRST ever Mustard Destruction Nature Restoration Collaboration with Nature Nexus Institute. Removing invasive mustard plants helps restore balance to Los Angeles ecosystems by giving native plants—many of which support pollinators, wildlife, and fire resistance—a chance to thrive. For humans, it’s a powerful reminder that healing sometimes means clearing what doesn’t belong, to make space for new growth in both land and life.

We offer Hike to Yoga on a sliding scale to keep our monthly mini urban retreats accessible and rooted in community care.

Our Mission Statement:

Hike to Yoga is a nonprofit community initiative making mindful movement, nature connection, and holistic wellness accessible to all. We bring together diverse groups for guided hikes, yoga in nature, and heart-centered connection—creating spaces of healing, belonging, and embodied joy in the outdoors.

1. Hike to Yoga becomes a collective of amazing Integrative Nature Yoga Instructors AKA Peace Warriors who activate parks and green spaces in LA County.
2. Raise money to build a website where we can highlight all the parks where Hike to Yoga is available as a public service. If you have experience in fundraising or want to learn grantwriting, please reach out!

By participating in this event organized by Hike to Yoga, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that hiking, yoga, and other physical activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, injuries, exposure to environmental conditions, and physical exertion. I voluntarily choose to participate in this event with full knowledge of these risks and assume all responsibility for any personal injuries, damages, or losses that may occur.

Release of Liability

I hereby release and hold harmless all employees, contractors, instructors, and volunteers, as well as Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, Los Angeles County, and all their respective officers, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, and damages related to any personal injury, accident, illness, death, or property damage arising from my participation in this event.

Photo Release

I hereby grant and authorize Hike to Yoga the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of any and all pictures or video taken of me to be used in and/or for any lawful promotional materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, annual reports, press kits and submissions to journalists, websites, social networking sites and other print and digital communications, without payment or any other consideration.
