New Moon Sonic Session Sound Healing
Every 2nd Sunday | 7:00 – 8:30 PM
Located in the Resonance Room @ Denver Percussion
Each month, as the moon begins a new cycle, we gather in the Resonance Room for a special 90-minute sound bath honoring renewal and reflection. Guided by sound artist and multi-instrumentalist April Maple, this intentional evening blends the ethereal tones of flute, synthesizer, and harmonic instruments to invite stillness, spaciousness, and possibility.
This immersive journey is designed to help you release the old and open your heart to what’s emerging. Whether you come to set intentions, meditate, or simply rest in sound, the New Moon Sound Bath offers a deeply restorative space for connection, healing, and transformation.
About your practitioner - April Maple
April received her Bachelors and Masters in Flute Performance, is 200 RYT certified, and a Somatic Therapist. Sound has been the original teacher of mindfulness and listening for April, and they have been leading sound healings since 2018. April uses a combination of Eastern and Western modalities, musical training, and a slow and gentle presence as tools to create a brave space for healing, feeling, and resting.
This experience will help you slow down, listen deeply, and tune into your body. Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, flute, chimes, tongue drum, crystal pyramid, soothing tones, and other instruments will assist you in this sonic journey. In this sound bath you have permission to simply exist as a human, clearing the mind clutter and recognizing your wholeness and leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.

What to Expect:
This 90-minute experience unfolds gently through waves of live sound—flute melodies, warm synth textures, crystal bowls, and resonant overtones.
Participants often experience:
- Deep relaxation and nervous system restoration
- Clarity and inspiration for the lunar cycle ahead
- Emotional release and energetic clearing
- A heightened sense of peace and inner awareness
No prior experience is needed—just come as you are and let the sound guide you.
Event Highlights
Fee: $35 per person
Schedule: Monthly on the Sunday closest to the New Moon
Arrival: Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in before the session begins.
Comfort: Bring your own mat, blanket, and any props that help you fully relax.
Policy: Late entry cannot be accommodated; refunds are unavailable for missed sessions.
Community Tea: After the session, linger for tea and quiet conversation in our lounge to integrate your experience.
