We’re running a full weekend of Distance Splashes, Hydro Dash (HD), and Air Retrieve (AR).
We will do a memorial toss for our partners we will never forget prior to the first splash on Saturday.
We are asking competitors to donate for equipment for Harrodsburg and Mercer County K-9 care and equipment in honor of sacrifices of first responders on 9/11, and every day.
--- Facility & Accessibility
Accessible dock with wheelchair lift. Be aware this is an outdoor event with grass and gravel. - Inclusive environment.
NADD Bumper will be used for all AR/HD rounds.
Beautiful historic Mercer Co KY just off of the bourbon trail, close to Herrington Lake, Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, Fort Harrod and lots of festival activities in Downtown Harrodsburg such as Friday Nights on Main.

Friday - AR and HD begin at 5:00 PM and 5:30.
We will run HD first, then switch to AR. - running order determined by facility
Saturday
AR Will start at 8:30 A.M We will run as many as we can prior to the 9:30 distance start
Jump cards accepted starting 8:30 AM.
Distance splashes start at 9:30 AM.
AR signups open at 8:00 for 8:30, 12:00–1:00 PM slot.
Distance splashes resume at 1:00 PM, with remaining AR rounds scheduled after Distance concludes (approximate finish ~5:00 PM). - AR running order set by facility
Signing up does not guarantee AR/HD at noon, we will take as many as time allows.
Sunday
HD Will start at 8:30 A.M. We will run as many as we can prior to the 9:30 Distance splashes.
Jump cards accepted starting 8:30 AM.
Distance slashes start at 9:30 AM.
HD signups open at 8:00 am for 12:00–1:00 PM time slot. Running Order set by facility.
Distance resumes at 1:00 PM, with remaining HD rounds scheduled after Distance concludes and try-its are finished. (approximate finish ~5:30 PM).
Signup for the noon AR/HD open at 9:00 and are limited to the number of competitors we can get through in the one hour window.
Signing up does not guarantee AR/HD at noon, we will take as many as time allows.
We recommend submitting jump cards early to help the event run on schedule and to secure your desired times. - You may jump back to back time slots, however one must come off of the dock and go back up to reset the 3 minute time clock.
Scoring, Finals & Award
Qualifying jump, Personal Best, and Title ribbons will be awarded.
H AR D Charger 1st Place Awards
Ribbons must be picked up at the event; we cannot mail ribbons.
Independent Facility Championship eligibility requires a minimum of three jumps at at least four different events during the year.
Championship awards will be given after the last event of the year (not at the end of the season). Teams must be present for jump‑offs and the award ceremony to receive championship awards.
Conduct & Safety
Handlers are responsible for the dog’s safety, behavior, and cleanup.
Please pay attention and be on deck ready to take the dock for your time slot. If you are not at the dock, you may be skipped and worked in later as time allows.
Signing up for the noon one hour slot does not guarantee you will be able to complete your AR/HD at noon. We will run as many docs as the 1 hour time window allows. Remaining dogs will compete in the specialty after conclusion of distance splashes.
Keep at least 10 ft distance from pool sides during competition
Judge's area is off limits during competition
Please do not allow your dog on the stairs while competitors are still on the dock
Do not open the gate to the dock until the current dog has exited the gate to the exit stairs.
