We’re thrilled to invite the fishing community along to our Club Open Day. This event is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet new members, and enjoy a fun afternoon. There will be a sausage sizzle, a casting comp, bouncy castle and more to keep the kids entertained. The bar will be open for a cold one, and we will have reps from a few local organisations in attendance who can provide information on safe boating, sustainable fishing and some of their exciting products! As always, there we'll be the opportunity to win a few spot prizes as well!
As we gear up for another exciting season at the Dawnbreakers Fishing Club, we would like to invite you to renew your membership and continue being a part of our thriving fishing community. If you've been away for a season or two, we would love to see you back at the Dawnbreakers. New seasons memberships are now open, and cards can be collected at the open day or posted to you before the season and annual competition kick off on the 1st October 2025.

Early Bird Prize: Shimano tackle bag, Dawnbreakers T-shirt and you're membership refunded (value over $300)
All memberships renewed & paid for before or at the open day by 3pm on the 21st September are automatically in the draw to win this awesome prize!

Season Membership: Renewing your membership ensures you remain a part of our vibrant club, with access to all the benefits you've enjoyed, including exclusive events, member-only resources, and the camaraderie of fellow club members. Renewing your membership also ensures you are in line for all the amazing prizes in the season competition.
The new monthly species competition was a hit last season and will continue! Entering the species of the month into our club competition will put you in the draw with a prize valued at over $250 each month – you will need to be in attendance at the social day to claim the prize or another name will be drawn. Months & species will be released in the coming weeks.
How to Renew: We've made the renewal process simple and straightforward, and we encourage you to complete it before the open day to get in the draw for the early bird prize.
To renew your membership, simply renew via the website
https://www.dawnbreakers.co.nz/membership.php

New clothing range: you may have noticed a few of our committee members showing off our new Dawnbreakers shirts at recent events. The website is now live to make your own orders. Sizes are true to fit and quality is great. Not a bad fathers day gift if you're short of ideas! Check it out here: https://pbco.co.nz/collections/dawnbreakers/

We'd love to grow the club this year and gain as many members as possible to make the most of our club activities and the awesome contributions that our sponsors make to the Nelson/Tasman fishing community. Please help by spreading the word, nudging your mate along to social day and encouraging new members to join up.
We look forward to seeing you at the open day!
