In 2022, we launched the NCACE Collection, as a new online resource to act as an archive and home for our commissioned research reports, essays and think-pieces, case studies, blogs and mini-toolkits. All our publications are on topics that relate to collaborations between Higher Education and the arts and cultural sectors; a praxis we often refer to as Cultural Knowledge Exchange.
Over the last four years, the Collection has been evolving as a space to house, showcase and grow awareness about the themes relating broadly to this emerging area of work. It is intended to inspire and encourage fresh thinking, new writing, story-telling, deep reflection and slow and engaged readership on collaborative ecologies between Higher Education and the arts and cultural sector. Not merely a ‘what works’ but a ‘why’ too.
The Summer Showcase presents an opportunity to hear from some of our recent contributors and to explore ideas for what kinds of materials might be valuable to support our future understanding about the diversity of collaborative practices between universities and the arts and culture sectors, and their power to generate a diverse panoply of powerful impacts and values.
The NCACE Collection lies at the heart of our Knowledge, Evidence and Impact work. Many of the publications featured in the Collection feed into or emerge from conversations with researchers, arts and culture professionals and practitioners and knowledge exchange specialists. Our intention is for this body of resources to not only be informative but to also provide fresh insights and inspiration on the impacts, the doing and the values of doing Cultural Knowledge Exchange.
We will be announcing our contributor line-up in the coming weeks.
We look forward to welcoming you.
