Following on from his talk earlier in the week, join Dan Forman for an exploration in Clyne Valley, Swansea!
About this Event

Dan, retired Associate Professor of Wildlife Biology at Swansea University and an expert on mammals in Wales, will lead a group on a nature ramble in Clyne Valley, Swansea.

The purpose? To help improve confidence in our abilities to identify different types of common wildlife, and to become familiar with uploading what wildlife we see to the local biological records centre.

Records can be sent to the South East Wales Biodiversity Records Centre https://www.sewbrec.org.uk/ using the LERC app. It's free and available for Apple and android mobile phones from the Apple or android app stores.

You'll need to load the app into your mobile phone and register your new account using an email before the event so you're all ready to start!

We will be working in small groups of 4 – 5 people to survey using field guides, with support from Dan and using our own knowledge to identify and record as many flora and fauna as possible in different sections of Clyne Valley adjacent to the cycle path.

Please be aware that numbers for this event are limited so please book early.

Please also note that we are unable to accommodate children at this particular event but a similar family-focused event will be arranged in due course.

Meet by the Chap-in-the-Box coffee kiosk in Clyne Car Park.
