The Full Permaculture Design Course
About this Event
Over six immersive weekends, you’ll build applied design skills, explore real‑world case studies, and complete two full design projects that bring permaculture principles to life.
This course is delivered in partnership with Helygen Permaculture CIC, founded by Paul Jennings and Luke Peake to support practical, accessible ecological education in Swansea and across Cymru. Together they’re developing a thoughtful, community‑centred approach to Permaculture training that blends solid design skills with the relational ethos at the heart of the movement.
Our PDC places strong emphasis on collaboration and community‑building, helping participants learn from one another and form lasting networks of practice. Whether you’re new to permaculture or ready to deepen your understanding, this course will help you become a confident, capable designer.

We use a progressive, inclusive pricing structure to make the PDC accessible. We’re able to offer up to 16 fully funded places for people who would normally be priced out of PDCs and who are working to strengthen community or food resilience. Choosing a paid place directly supports these funded participants and helps us offer more in future.
