Saturday, June 20, 2026 | 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Program Summary
Nature, Movement & Mindfulness invites participants to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves through guided outdoor wellness experiences in South DeKalb's parks and greenspaces. Each offering features a unique facilitator whose approach encourages participants to cultivate presence, curiosity, and connection while experiencing the restorative benefits of nature.
Our inaugural session features Danielle Jones, Founder and Principal Owner of ROOTSRISE LLC. An environmental educator, yoga teacher, and facilitator, Danielle's work is guided by the values of love, curiosity, transparency, and integrity. Through mindful movement, breathwork, reflection, and embodied practice, participants will be invited to reconnect with themselves, one another, and the world around them.
Held along the Michelle Obama Trail, this experience offers an opportunity to step away from the pace of everyday life and embrace intentional moments of movement, mindfulness, and presence. Together, we will explore the intersection of wellness and nature while cultivating greater awareness, balance, and well-being.
Nature, Movement & Mindfulness is a growing collection of outdoor wellness offerings designed to support DeKalb County RPCA's vision of creating and connecting communities through people, parks, and programs.
