Ever want to learn more about the birds in your own backyard? Amy Tan did, and she spent six years watching, drawing, and recording the bird dramas happening right outside her windows. The result was her fascinating book, The Backyard Bird Chronicles. For this workshop, join Master Naturalist Allison Donohue in reading and chatting about this book, and learn some bird sketching techniques that you can use in your own bird watching adventures! All materials will be provided, and though reading the book ahead of time is encouraged, it is not required.
