Native Garden Maintenance Workshop

This hands-on workshop led by Metro Blooms landcare experts will cover practices for keeping your native plantings thriving, and your rain gardens functioning their best. Get guidance for identifying native plants, managing weeds, timing for rain garden maintenance activities throughout the year, assessing rain garden functionality and more.
This workshop is hosted by the City of St. Louis Park.
- This workshop will be hosted in-person, outside at the rain gardens adjacent to the Northeast parking lot near the Aquila park ball fields. We will spend time standing, walking, and practicing hands-on maintenance in the garden.
- Gloves and hand tools will be provided; you are welcome to bring your own gardening tools, folding chairs, or anything else that will make you comfortable in the space. Light snacks and water will be available.
- Parking may be available in the lot, though there will also be games being played in the ball fields. Additional parking along the street is also available.
- The nearest bus stop is at Minnetonka Blvd & Xylon Ave that is serviced by route 667.
