Shop local and support your community bookshop on National Independent Bookstore Day! Independent Bookstore Day, the last Saturday in April, is an annual celebration of independent bookstores across the country. Here’s how you can participate in Independent Bookstore Day at New Dominion this year:*Shop Local on Saturday, April 25*
Come visit the shop on Independent Bookstore Day. We will be open from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
*Join Us for Storytime*
Join us for Storytime! Our weekly Storytime, held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays, features both recent storybooks and the classics kids know and love. All ages are welcome.
*Join Us for Our Annual Rose Garden Party*
Join us out in the Rose Garden from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM for refreshments and a general celebration of spring. Everyone is invited. Our Rose Garden is located outside, behind the shop, and is accessible from the alley off 4th St. In the event of rain, the Rose Garden Party will be held inside the shop.
*Enjoy a Free Balloon (For Kids!)*
We will have free balloons available in the shop for children, while supplies last!
