Our Parent Support Group is focused on helping parents and caregivers of middle and high school aged children who are showing symptoms or have been diagnosed with a mental illness. Parents of adults living with a mental health condition are also welcome to attend and share their experiences. This group meets in Heck Hall at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Severna Park.
NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need.
-Free of cost to participants
-Led by family members of people with mental health conditions
-90 minutes long and meets monthly
-No specific medical therapy or treatment is endorsed
-Confidential
No registration required for in-person support groups.
