Patuxent Water Reclamation Facility - Managed Aquifer Recharge Tour

We invite you to attend a tour of the Advanced Water Treatment (AWT) Pilot Facility for Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) at the Patuxent Water Reclamation Facility in Crofton, Maryland.

Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) is a proven groundwater augmentation strategy that involves supplementing underground aquifer water supplies. Anne Arundel County is considering an approach that involves injecting recycled water that has been treated to drinking water standards into groundwater aquifers.

The tour will begin with a presentation on the pilot program located at Anne Arundel County's office.

The tour meeting location is: Maxwell Frye Utility Operations Complex, Building A. 445 Maxwell Frye Road Millersville, Maryland, 21108.

Following the presentation, we will drive over to the Patuxent Water Reclamation Facility, located at 1640 Patuxent Professional Blvd., Crofton, Maryland, 21114 for the tour of the pilot program.
