🌿💚 MĀNUTEWHAU COMMUNITY AWA CLEAN-UP DAY 💚🌿
Nau mai, haere mai! Come along and help us care for our local awa and give back to our beautiful community.
We’re coming together to clean up the Mānutewhau Awa, removing rubbish and helping restore this important local waterway so it can thrive and provide a safe habitat for our native birds, fish and wildlife. 🐦🐟🌱
It’s a great opportunity to get outdoors, meet others in the community and make a real difference right here in our own backyard. 💚

⏰ 10am to 12.30pm
📍 Mānutewhau Community Hub, 74B Oreil Avenue, West Harbour
🧤 What to bring:
• Sturdy closed-toe shoes are essential 👟
• Gardening gloves
• A rain jacket 🌧️
• Plenty of enthusiasm!
👨👩👧👦 Kids are welcome, but must be supervised by an adult.
🌭 FREE sausage sizzle afterwards! Come along, lend a hand, then stick around for some kai and a kōrero with the community.
Hosted by Mānutewhau Community Hub and Massey Matters, with support from EcoMatters and the Henderson-Massey Local Board.
