Learning the stories behind the poses brings a new dimension to our practice. These myths serve as guides to understanding the essence of yoga beyond physical postures. Through their stories, we find inspiration to embody qualities such as balance, grace, strength, loyalty and selflessness--both on and off the mat. Join us as we explore the story of Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and patron of new beginnings, through asanas woven together with intentional sound healing.
In this special class, you'll experience how the resonant tones of healing instruments--such as crystal singing bowls, gongs and chimes--align with the energy of each pose, helping to clear blockages and deepen your connection to Ganesha's teachings. Gentle mantras, like the powerful "Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha," will be woven throughout the practice, inviting you to call upon Ganesha's qualities within yourself.
Together, movement, myth, mantra and sound create a sacred space for transformation, inviting you to step beyond the physical practice and into the timeless wisdom of yoga.
