Led by professional opera singer Joanne Edworthy, My Town Choir has raised over £6000 for various local charities and enjoy singing a diverse mix of repertoire and wholeheartedly believe in the joy and wellbeing that singing in a group brings.
My Town Choir started in Chesham in January 2019 and was joined by our Wycombe choir in 2021. We enjoy singing a diverse mix of repertoire and wholeheartedly believe in the joy and wellbeing that singing in a group brings.
Led by professional opera singer Joanne Edworthy, My Town Choir has raised over £6000 for various local charities. Our concerts have included performances with Opera, Classical Music, and Broadway & West End stars.
We believe that “everyone can sing” and are non-auditioning meaning that all are welcome to enjoy the power of singing that brings people together, builds a sense of community and is fun too!
We aim to help our community in two ways. Firstly, giving our members the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and benefit from the pleasure that singing in a choir brings. Secondly, helping the wider community by raising funds for local charities with our concerts.
