Book Launch: How To Never Have A Hit by Alan Tyler
Alan Tyler is the frontman with country-rock band The Rockingbirds, who galloped haphazardly into the ‘90s Camden indie scene, appeared on Top of the Pops, went head-to-head with Nirvana at Reading ’92, and produced, eventually, four albums of unsurpassed Americana.
Tyler is a stalwart of London’s roots music scene – a critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter who has never had a single hit.
Come and hear him share his stories with local journalist, Sean Hannam, and play a live acoustic set.
Copies of Alan’s autobiography, which has a foreword by John Niven, will be available to buy and get signed on the night.
