This program is designed to address issues that place youth at risk for predators. Youth will gain the tools needed to stay safe.
About this Event

"My Choices Impact My Safety" is a prevention program designed to educate youth ages 12-17 about the dangers sex trafficking & sexual exploitation. The program will consist of interactive, in-person workshops that promote social-emotional wellness and provide practical tools to help youth stay safe. Workshops will address key topics such as internet and social media safety, recognizing healthy & unhealthy relationships, setting boundaries, understanding consent, as well as accessing help and resources. Each session will target a risk factors that increases vulnerability to exploitation, with a focus on early intervention.

Info: This prevention program consist of 8 engaging workshop sessions for youth ages 12-17. The workshops will be offered once a month on a Saturday beginning January 2026 through August 2026. The current workshop dates are: Jan 10th; Feb 14th; March 21st; April 11th; May 9th; June 6th; July 18th; & the final session is August 1st. REGISTRATION DEADLINE is JANUARY 3, 2026.

Info: There will be 8 workshop sessions starting February 2026. There will be 1 workshop session per month. Each session will be 2 1/2 hours. Lunch will be provided for REGISTERED youth in attendance.
Youth MUST be registered to attend. Youth are encouraged to attend ALL 8 workshops to receive their certificate of completion and community service hours.
