CHRISTY DiNAPOLI — GRAMMY-NOMINATED PRODUCER | ARTIST MANAGER | MUSIC PUBLISHER
With 40 years in the music and entertainment industry, Christy DiNapoli has built a career spanning record production, artist management, music publishing and major-label leadership. His credits include three GRAMMY nominations, numerous ASCAP awards and production work on projects totaling more than 13 million albums sold. DiNapoli was a producer on Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles, winner of the CMA Album of the Year, and has held roles with major record companies including Warner Bros. and Big Machine Records. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Country Music.

Brian Haunhorst is Chief Technology Officer of MIC — Music Industry Community, the new technology platform built to unify the music community and give independent artists and industry professionals the tools, connections and resources to advance their careers. He brings the technology perspective to the panel, addressing how emerging platforms, data and innovation are changing the way independent artists build, manage and grow their careers.

Ashley Holt is the creator and editor of Nashville’s Music Scene Magazine, a national music publication focused on elevating artists and industry leaders. Under her leadership, the magazine has featured multi-platinum artists and achieved multiple #1 issues on Amazon. Holt was also selected to appear on Inside Success TV’s Next Level CEO with Shark Tank’s Daymond John, where she shares her expertise in media, branding and business growth.
Together with spotlight band Hilljack, the panel will share firsthand experience and practical insight into artist development, songwriting, music production, technology, branding, industry relationships and building career longevity — followed by an audience Q&A.
Hilljack — Live at The TroubadourHilljack brings together an accomplished lineup of Nashville artists, musicians and hit songwriters with decades of award-winning experience.
Porter Howell is a founding member, lead guitarist and vocalist of the multi-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated band Little Texas and a CMA Triple Play Award-winning songwriter. His credits include some of the band's biggest hits, including “God Blessed Texas,” “What Might Have Been,” “My Love,” “Kick a Little” and “First Time for Everything.”
Paul Jefferson is a recording artist and hit songwriter who co-wrote Aaron Tippin’s three-week No. 1 “That’s As Close As I’ll Get to Loving You” and “You’re Not My God” with Keith Urban, featured on Urban’s multi-platinum Golden Road.
Together, Jefferson and Howell formed Hilljack, which went on to perform twice on the Grand Ole Opry and earn New Music Weekly’s Band of the Year honor. The current lineup also includes Sonny LeMaire of Exile and longtime Hilljack member John Riffe.
At MIC Live, Hilljack will be featured in a live interview and Q&A, sharing firsthand insight from their careers with independent artists and music industry professionals, followed by a live performance.

THE MIC ARTIST SPOTLIGHT
Independent artists attending MIC LIVE will have the opportunity to enter the MIC Artist Spotlight.
One artist will be selected LIVE during the event to receive a featured opportunity with MIC, including the chance to perform at an upcoming MIC LIVE event, promotional exposure in Nashville’s Music Scene Magazine and additional career-building opportunities through the MIC community.
Artist Spotlight details, eligibility and prize package will be announced prior to the event.
