Museum of the City of New York – Fulbright Tour

Join the Greater New York Fulbright Association for a special visit to the Museum of the City of New York, which explores the people, places, and ideas that shape New York’s iconic character. Founded in 1923 by Henry Collins Brown, the Museum’s collection includes hundreds of thousands of objects, from prints and photographs to decorative arts, costumes, paintings, sculpture, toys, and theatrical memorabilia.

Our Fulbright group will enjoy a guided tour from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm of the exhibition “New York at Its Core,” which traces the history of New York City through art, artifacts, and the many cultures that make up the city. After the guided tour, you’ll have time to explore the museum on your own. We’ll then reconvene in the upstairs café at 2:00 pm to debrief, connect, and continue the conversation.
