Mudi Puppy Yoga in Toronto
About this Event
Toronto on a Saturday morning hits different when there are puppies involved.
Welcome to Mudi Puppy Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Toronto, where a room full of curly, clever little dogs turns a regular December Saturday into something you'll actually look forward to all week.
Mudis are energetic, bright, and deeply people-oriented. They will find you on your mat, and they will make it their business to be involved in whatever you're doing.
Here's how the hour breaks down:
- 35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga
- 20 minutes of connection and cuddle time
- 5 minutes of sharing circle
Why people keep coming back
Puppy yoga in Toronto does something a regular yoga class cannot. A puppy wanders over, settles against your leg, and your nervous system just... exhales. The inbox, the to-do list, the doom-scroll habit. None of it follows you into the room.
A note on Mudi puppies
The Mudi is a Hungarian herding breed that is still relatively rare outside of Europe, which makes this a genuinely special class. They are sharp, curious, and surprisingly agile for their size. Expect a puppy who is interested in everything, quick to bond, and not at all shy about climbing into your lap to investigate what you're doing. Their wavy to curly coats and fox-like faces make them almost unfairly charming, and their enthusiasm for human company means the cuddle portion of class tends to get a little chaotic in the best possible way.
Kids are welcome at this one.
Ages 5 and up are good to go. Anyone under 18 needs to come with a parent or guardian who is also participating in the class and can help their kid move gently and handle the puppies with care.
Mats provided. No experience needed. Just show up, get on the floor, and let the Mudis take it from there.
