About this Event
TUNE IN TUESDAY is a monthly sound & relaxation therapy workshop focused on sound bathing and vocal toning that invites you to “tune in” to deep relaxation, inner stillness, and guided self-reflection.
Settle into yourself through soothing sound vibrations, gentle vocal sounding practices, and evidence-informed insights into how sound and vibration can be integrated into everyday life to help reduce stress, deepen relaxation, and cultivate a greater sense of wellbeing.
Join for one session or many. No experience required.

• When: Tuesdays - September 29th / October 20th / November17th
• Time: 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• Venue: The Grateful Den (390 Dupont Street, Suite 201, Toronto)
What Awaits You:
- An introduction to relaxation therapy and sound therapy including sound bathing and vocal toning for stress-reduction and emotional wellbeing
- A guided breathwork and body scan practice to calm the nervous system and prepare for the sound bath
- An immersive sound bath experience featuring a therapeutic combination of quartz crystal singing bowls, vocal channeling, metal singing bowls, tuning forks, shruti box and chimes
- A restorative voice-based sound practice called vocal toning. Explore vowel sounds (A–E–I–O–U) using gentle vocalization to encourage resonance and a deeper sense of connection
- Guided Self-Reflection facilitated by a licensed psychotherapist

• Health Insurance Coverage Notice: Attendees are responsible for ensuring that their health insurance benefits cover Psychotherapy Services provided by a therapist licensed with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). A receipt can be provided after each workshop for you to submit for reimbursement.
• Accessibility Notice: Taking one flight of stairs is required to access the studio space. There is no elevator in the building.
• Arrival Notice: Please arrive punctually for each scheduled workshop time. Doors will be locked at 7:40 pm.
• What to Bring: The studio provides yoga mats, bolsters, and blankets. You're welcome and encouraged to bring your own if you prefer, along with anything else that will help you feel comfortable, such as a pillow, eye mask, water bottle, warm socks, or any other cozy items.

• About: Nicole Manes, MA Counselling Psychology & Certified Sound Therapy Practitioner
Nicole Manes, MACP, is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Certified Sound Therapy Practitioner and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) licensed to practice with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is passionate about integrating psychotherapy with sound-based and other somatic practices to help individuals reduce stress, strengthen mind-body awareness, and support mental health and wellbeing.
As a vocalist, Nicole incorporates voice into her sound therapy experiences alongside evidence-informed psychoeducation to help participants experience and explore the therapeutic potential of sound, breath, and vocal expression. She has facilitated workshops and wellness seminars for individuals, workplaces, and organizations, including Google, Toronto Community Health Centres, and the University of Toronto.
