In this richly illustrated presentation, journalist and author Stephen Long tells the story of “New England’s Katrina,” focusing on the storm’s impact on forests and the remarkable recovery that followed.
Stephen Long is a journalist, co-founder of Northern Woodlands magazine, and author of Thirty-Eight: The Hurricane that Transformed New England. Drawing on archival photographs and years of research, he brings this pivotal moment in New England’s environmental history vividly to life.
