MSU Retirees - September Monthly Membership Meeting

Zeke the Wonder Dog and trainer Jim Foley will kickoff the September 4th meeting of the Michigan State University Retirees Association (MSURA). Zeke has been entertaining Spartan fans since the mid1970’s. Zeke has performed at the Rose Bowl, at NFL games, was runner-up at the Frisbee Dog World Championships, received an MSU varsity letter from Coach Daryl Rodgers, featured in Sports Illustrated, and regularly performs at MSU home football and basketball games.
The current Zeke is the fifth iteration of the famous frisbee catching dog. Zeke V is the first female dog to hold the title of Zeke the Wonder Dog. Her actual name is Cindy Lou and she has been in training for her role with owner s Jim and Terri Foley for the past seven years. Zeke V made her Spartan debut on April 18, 2026 at the annual Spring football event. Come and learn about the history of Zeke and what it takes to train a dog to perform in front of 75 thousand football fans.
