This event is planned because respondents to the Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH) Primary Care Training Needs Analysis (TNA) 2024/25 suggested the topic as a local training need.

This is event is for staff working in Primary Care in Bassetlaw, Nottingham & Nottinghamshire and the Midlands

<h4>This event intends to enable participants to understand the requirements to be a Clinical Supervisor</h4>

Outcomes include:

To describe the breadth of clinical supervision.
To apply educational theory to clinical supervision.
To compose a de-brief and tutorial.
To apply feedback models
To be aware of workplace based assessments.
To manage colleagues in difficulty.

Target audience

This free event is aimed at primary care colleagues who are involved in clinical supervision of new additional roles, existing nursing staff and ACPs

Key message for the session

We may all be able to supervise our colleagues BUT can we always do it better!

The event speakers will include:

A GP and Clinical Pharmacist

NATH Educators

This session is not recorded as designed as an interactive session.

NB: Please register with your nhs.net email where possible. If the event is oversubscribed, priority may be given to those who have registered with NHS addresses.

You will receive a certificate for your attendance two weeks after the course takes place.

The meeting will be broadcast on the MS Teams Platform.

There is a 48 hours’ cancellation policy notice for this event. Should you fail to cancel your place and not attend the training, your employer may be liable to pay the Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub £25 towards the cost of the training event.
