Join Sam DeTiberiis, cast member of Andrew Paiz’s upcoming production Moving Day, for an Open Level Lyrical class exploring movement, musicality, and emotional expression in a supportive and welcoming environment. Open to dancers of all backgrounds and experience levels, this workshop emphasizes safe technique training, artistry, and connection through movement.
This special workshop is donation-based with a suggested donation of $10, with all proceeds going directly to the instructor and production costs.
Held at TMCC in the Performance Lab on the Dandini Campus. Red Mountain 240.
Sam DeTiberiis is a Reno-based dancer, instructor, and choreographer, who loves to share her passion of dance with the community. She began her teaching journey at 16 years old under the mentorship of her dance educators. Since then, she has had the incredible opportunity to teach a variety of dance styles to dancers ages 2-adult in both competitive and recreational spaces. Sam’s teaching style is structured by providing dancers with safe spaces to explore movement and emotional expression, prioritizing safe technique training, and integrating constructive tangible feedback. She has a commitment to seeking growth as a dance educator, and has attended Dance Teacher Web in Las Vegas where she connected with and learned from dance educators from around the country. As an extension to being a dance educator, Sam enjoys sharing her choreography, which has been presented in dance competitions and local shows in the Reno-Tahoe area.
