Mount Makers Market is back this winter with endless creations from talented local makers, artists, crafters, bakers, and food vendors all under one roof at the Mount Maunganui Sports Centre.Come and explore a vibrant community market filled with beautiful handmade products, delicious treats, and creative works made with care and passion by local small businesses. From unique crafts to freshly made food, every stall has something special waiting to be discovered.
By visiting the market and choosing to support local, you are helping small businesses grow, encouraging creativity, and contributing to a stronger local economy. Every purchase supports passionate makers and keeps our community thriving.
We are also incredibly proud of our young makers generation, who bring amazing creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to the market at such a young age.
Families are warmly welcome! Enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with kids’ activities and a small kids’ area, making it a fun outing for visitors of all ages.
If you spot something you love at the market, feel free to chat with the stallholders — every item has a story behind it.
There will also be hands-on activities like Paint with a Biologist, Face Painting, Make Your Own Beads, Kids' E-Balance Bike Rides (bikes rides are weather dependent since it's outdoors), and more! Follow our page and stay updated!

Stall & Workshop site options for students, young makers, not-for-profits, small businesses, new starters and more! Bring your creativity! Indoor and outdoor sites are available. Spaces are limited.
