Motley Halloween Dog Show
About this Event
A spooktacular dog show is coming to Motley on Deansgate this Halloween, inviting four-legged friends to dress to impress for an afternoon of tricks, treats and tail-wagging fun, all while raising money for Manchester Dogs’ Home.
Taking place on Saturday 31 October, the fang-tastic event will see pooches compete in three categories: Musical Sits, Best Dressed and Play Dead. There’ll be prizes for category winners, with runners-up also rewarded, so every pooch has a chance to be top dog.
Entry costs £2 per category (to be paid on arrival at Motley), with all donations going to Manchester Dogs’ Home.
There’ll be treats for humans and hounds alike at the neighbourhood restaurant and bar. Owners will be welcomed with a complimentary Halloween cocktail, while their canine companions can tuck into a puppuccino and a canine cupcake on arrival.
And the treats don’t stop there. Motley’s doggy dining offer means dogs eat free when accompanied by a paying human. Their menu includes two juicy sausages served on a bed of rice with plenty of tasty gravy.
Meanwhile, humans can tuck into Motley’s smokehouse menu, featuring slow-smoked brisket, half a Cajun chicken and a vegetable kebab, alongside a range of burgers and sandwiches for a lighter bite.
As an extra treat, everyone attending the dog show will receive 20% off their food and drinks bill on the day, with their four-legged friends dining for free.
Located at 2 John Dalton Street, on the corner of Deansgate, Motley is known for its relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere, seasonal dishes and creative cocktails.
