Mother's Day Tea in the Tropics at Aquatopia Conservatory

ATTENTION ALL MOTHERS!

Treat yourself on Mother’s Day Weekend, and escape to the tropics here at Aquatopia Conservatory for a mother-only afternoon tea party. It’s a lovely, stylish event where you and other moms are bathed in the warm sunshine and greenery of our conservatory, in the classical style of the bygone era of English garden parties. The food is light and whimsical, highlighting the sweet and savoury delights of a traditional Bedford tea service.

Leave the kids and Dads at home and come celebrate with the other mothers and mother-figures in your life in an elevated tropical retreat. Indulge in a curated selection of scrumptious sandwiches, savoury delights, and sweet treats paired with tea, all while surrounded by lush greenery and cascading waterfalls in our glass-enclosed conservatory.

Spoil yourself by toasting and celebrating the triumphs of motherhood with refreshing virgin and alcoholic mimosas and bellinis, as well as a curated selection of drink options from our bar, hosted by Thirst Responders.

The event is taking place the day before Mother’s Day on Saturday, May 9, 2026, leaving plenty of time on Sunday for family traditions. Tea service will begin upon arrival anytime between 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm, with traditional tiered food platters served shortly thereafter. We welcome guests to arrive earlier to explore Aquatopia and shop our tropical plant selection.
