About this Event
Step into deep restoration inside the peaceful setting of the Lynn Valley Labyrinth for an immersive 1-hour evening of sound, stillness, and reconnection.
Guided by Corus — an Indigenous sound healer, musician, and space-holder from the Haisla and Kitasoo Xai’xais Nations — this journey weaves together the pure resonance of crystal singing bowls, the soulful breath of Native flute, gentle chimes, and nature ambience inspired by the forests and waters of British Columbia.
Held within the beautiful labyrinth at Lynn Valley United Church, this experience invites you to slow down, soften the body, release the energy of the day, and return to your natural rhythm. The labyrinth offers a symbolic pathway inward — a space for reflection, rest, and gentle reconnection with self.
The vibration of the bowls will wash through the body, supporting deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and quieting of the mind. The flute carries an ancestral, heart-opening tone — grounding you to the Earth while inviting spacious awareness. Chimes and nature ambience add soft layers of texture, creating a peaceful soundscape that feels connected to land, breath, and stillness.
All instruments are tuned to 432Hz — often referred to as a natural or harmonic tuning. Many people experience 432Hz as softer, warmer, and more soothing than standard tuning.
People often come to sound baths for support with:
• Deep relaxation and stress relief
• Nervous system reset
• Emotional balance and grounding
• Meditation and inward awareness
• Energetic cleansing and chakra alignment
• Reconnection with self, body, and nature
No experience is needed — simply come as you are. You are welcome to lie down or sit comfortably and allow the sounds to guide you inward.
This experience is perfect for anyone seeking a calm midweek reset, a peaceful community space, or a gentle way to release tension and reconnect with themselves.
