Moreton School Year 6 Open Evening, Come and See What MORE Looks Like
About this Event
Choosing the right secondary school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a family. At Moreton School, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to strive for more - and our Open Evenings are your chance to see exactly what that means.
We have two Open Evenings this autumn, and you are welcome to attend either:
- Wednesday 23rd September, 4.30pm to 7.30pm, this will be a full open evening.
- Tuesday 6th October, 5.30pm to 7.30pm, this will be SLT tours only.
Each evening runs across three time slots - 4.30pm, 5.30pm, and 6.30pm - so you can choose a time that works for your family.
During your visit you can expect:
- A welcome from our Headteacher and senior leadership team
- Student-guided tours of our facilities and subject areas
- The chance to meet our teachers and ask questions about curriculum, enrichment, and pastoral support
- Information on how we support every learner - whether they need additional help or want to be stretched and challenged
- A real sense of the warm, inclusive, and ambitious community at the heart of Moreton School
Life at Moreton goes well beyond the classroom. Our students take part in a rich and varied enrichment programme, with clubs, after-school study sessions, and events including theatre trips, science weeks, and our annual school production. We celebrate effort and commitment at every turn - from our Enrichment Club rewards to our 15 Days of Positivity attendance campaign, which recognises students who show up and give their best every day.
We are proud to have been recognised as one of just 100 Trailblazer schools in the country by the English Schools Football Association, thanks to the outstanding community work carried out by our Rising Stars programme. Our students regularly work with local primary schools and partner organisations, developing real skills, confidence, and a sense of responsibility that prepares them well for life beyond Moreton.
Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Our Mental Health Youth Ambassadors lead meaningful conversations across the school community, and we work closely with families through initiatives like our digital wellbeing webinars and our Class Charts parent portal - which keeps you connected to your child's progress, attendance, and achievements in real time.
We are proud of the safe, harmonious environment we have built here - one where students feel valued, respected, and inspired to reach new heights.
Tickets are free. Simply select your preferred date and time slot below to reserve your place.
We look forward to welcoming your family to Moreton School.
