In honor of Black History Month, join us for a meaningful and unforgettable Single Adults outing in Montgomery, Alabama — a city filled with history, courage, and inspiration.
We will visit three powerful museums that offer a deep, moving look into the stories and sacrifices that shaped our nation:
The Legacy Museum
The National Memorial for Peace & Justice (Freedom Museum)
The Rosa Parks Museum
Each museum is $6 per person, and everyone will pay their own way at the door.
As part of the experience, there is a short riverboat ride (about 15 minutes) that simply transports us to another section of the museum and memorial.
It’s very easy and smooth — you can wear regular clothes just like you would for a normal day out. It’s no different from riding in a car.
🍽 Lunch:
We will have lunch in between the museum visits, which makes it easy and allows everyone to stay together.
(Everyone will pay for their own meal.)
📅 Date:
Saturday, February 21, 2026
⏰ Meet-Up:
Please arrive by 9:30 a.m.
We will meet in the lobby of The Legacy Museum to begin the day together.
📍 Location:
The Legacy Museum – Lobby
Montgomery, Alabama
This will be a beautiful day of learning, reflection, connection, and feeling the Spirit as we honor faith, courage, and the light of those who came before us.
