Join us February 7 from 10:00am to 2:00pm for our Black History Month event, "The Pursuit of Happiness." This event will feature an exhibit, a poetry reading with Ashley Edwards, and a conversation with Reverend Dr. McClung from Holt Street Baptist Church. He will speak about Holt Street Baptist Church and his involvement in the Civil Rights movement.
Local organizations, including the Freedom Rides Museum, Rosa Parks Museum, League of Women Voters, Thread My Needle, and Center for Traditional Culture will have tables. Pizza from Can a Brotha Get a Slice will be available. The event is FREE and open to everyone!
