About this Event
A four-time Dora Mavor Moore Award winner, Natasha Poon Woo is a distinguished performer and director who served as the Associate Artistic Director of Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre. A summa cum laude graduate of SUNY Purchase and an Endorsed Expert Teacher by the Limón Foundation, she has taught for the National Ballet of Canada and Toronto Metropolitan University. She currently performs with elite companies including Côté Danse and Rock Bottom Movement.
12:00pm | C-I Training™: Developed by Dr. Donna Krasnow, this system combines conditioning for strength and flexibility with visualization for neuromuscular re-patterning and mind-body integration. Please bring a mat.
1:30pm | Limón Technique: Explore the principles of breath, suspension, and fall and recovery through floor work, centre exercises, and travelling phrases inspired by the José Limón repertoire. This syllabus follows the lineage of master educators Donna Krasnow and Daniel Lewis. Bare feet or socks recommended.
