Mira Barakat teaches intermediate tango in Berkeley (six Wednesdays)

Mira Barakat is back to teach beginning tango and intermediate tango! Mira is a full-time professional tango teacher who is equally excellent at leading and following. She helps students create connection and communication in their dance, while explaining the technique clearly.

The intermediate class is geared towards people who have been dancing tango regularly for about six months. This dance class is taught using the terms "leaders" and "followers" and is inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. No partner necessary.

Wednesdays, Nov. 13th through Dec. 18th
8:00-8:30 pm practica
8:30-9:30 pm intermediate class
9:30-10:00 pm practica

Both practicas are included with the class, and we encourage everyone to stay, keep dancing, and ask questions!

$108.55 for six-week series
$81.88 for student with ID

Drinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge, across the hall. All ages are welcome in the dance classes.

We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance, and go straight to get to the back courtyard.
