Minnie Evans: Draw or Die

Join us for the screening of a documentary about African American artist Minnie Evans who painted her visions of the divine. The film shares stories of Minnie's unique life and perspectives and will be followed by a post-film discussion with the filmmaker and an art-making activity with local artist Thandiwe Shiphrah. And there just might be some food involved! Film is part of Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers, a program of South Arts in partnership with National Endowment for the Arts.
