ON MINDFULNESS MEDITATION:
To live your whole life: this is what mindfulness meditation really offers.
Mindfulness is the practice of bringing a relaxed, clear attention to a chosen point of focus. Perhaps the breath, perhaps the body. Perhaps your thoughts or emotions. In any case, the ultimate purpose is to gain familiarity and clarity with who you are most truly.
Mindfulness meditation practice has numerous benefits: less stress, better sleep, better emotional regulation, greater sense of connection with yourself and with others, a rediscovery of personal meaning and purpose in life. The list goes on and on and on.
This monthly class focuses on providing a quality introduction to foundational mindfulness meditation practices. The intention is that attendees will leave with a greater understanding not only of what mindfulness is, but a greater understanding of themselves.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
+ No prior experience is necessary. This class is open to everyone: perfect for brand new beginners or those with years of meditation experience.
+ Brandon cares deeply about the happiness and insight of other people: he is happy to answer any/all questions related to mindfulness and meditation practice.
+ If you enjoy journaling or want to jot down notes, bring a pen and paper.
+ Seating is available either on meditation cushions or in chairs.
+ Dress comfortably.

+ One intention of this class is to foster community. At the end of class (8PM), we offer the opportunity for attendees to continue to hang out, chat, and get to know one another.
