Who is the Cabragh Lodge Retreat for?
The Mindfulness and Self Compassion Retreat is suitable for those with a meditation practice, and complete beginners interested in mindfulness and compassion. It is also suitable for mindfulness teachers, and trainees.
All sessions are optional as the focus will be on self compassion, caring and connecting to your needs.

What to Expect:
With a maximum of 12 participants, there is plenty of time to relax ,renew and nurture yourself , as we explore how we can bring more kindness and self-compassion into our lives.
The retreat includes meditation practices spaciously guided while sitting, standing, lying, or mindful movement. We will also share Qi-Gong, and walking practices in a quiet rural area as we cultivate direct exploration of mindfulness and compassion.
There will also be times when we practice silence together, including a full day of silent practice on Sunday. All sessions are optional.
Every evening there will be the opportunity to relax with a Sound Bath (Gongs) or Qi Gong gentle movement sessions.
Accommodation at the Cabragh Lodge:
To provide you with every comfort, nestled into the landscape surrounding the Cabragh Lodge retreat centre, you will find our 4 high-quality and beautiful, passive-design 2-bedroom self-contained wooden ensuite eco-cabins. Each bedroom has either a double bed (single occupancy) or twin beds (same sex) with high-quality sheets, towels, and duvets.
Each cabin has its own kitchen and dining area to provide all you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay but don’t worry, delicious home-cooked vegetarian meals, biscuits, cake, fruit, tea, and coffee are provided. Where-ever possible, provisions are locally sourced.
