The stories we tell ourselves about who we are have a powerful effect on our lives. We create these overarching personal narratives, or myths, to make meaning of our experiences and to feel safe in our identities. Originating from ancestors, politicians, teacher, parents and culture, these mythologies shape our thinking, reactions, decisions and paths, often unconsciously.
Unless these narratives grow with us, they can trap us in self-limiting and defeating patterns, holding us back from who we want to be and the life we want to create.
If you're in a time of transition, tired of coming up against the same issues or seeking growth in an aspect of your life, we invite you to join this weekend retreat for a deep reset with psychologist, Dr Glenn Graves, and meditation guide, coach and sound therapist Aki Tsukui.
The facilitators will guide participants to uncover and release stories that no longer serve, making space for new narratives that empower and liberate using a holistic 5 step model based on the groundbreaking book, 'The Mythic Path', by eminent psychologists Dr David Feinstein and Dr Stanley Krippner
Dates: Nov 29 and 30 and December 1, 2024
Testimonials:
Joining the retreat was the best thing I could have done for myself to begin the year. My objective was to find myself again as a woman going through a difficult divorce. I wanted the tools that would allow myself to be stronger as a person and that Mother for my children - I came away with so much more. - Anonymous
The retreat was powerful and definitely catalysed movement and change on many levels for my husband and me. Glenn gently walked with each one of us in our individual processes when working out issues, deciphering impressions, resolving conflicts and flagging potential blockages on each person's journey towards more healing. There is magic in the telling and Glenn certainly held the space with tremendous compassion and focus, making it safe for sharing on a level that's real and open. The retreat was transformative for me and the healing / experienced was profound. I would recommend this workshop to anyone who has a desire to improve their lives or relationships. - Anonymous
