About this Event

We are thrilled to be host Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima to celebrate the release of their new book, the MinaLima Edition of Mary Shelley’s horror classic Frankenstein.

Miraphora and Eduardo will be in conversation with Katie Fraser.

Shelley’s revered novel comes to life as never before in this inventive edition showcasing the magical artistry of MinaLima, brimming with original illustrations and seven extraordinary interactive features including an expanding map, a reveal of the Creature’s face and a foldout excerpt from Victor’s diary.

Miraphora and Eduardo will delve into their artistic processes and how they approach new projects and genres, plus take a look over their publishing success story as they approach the 25th anniversary of their design studio. The perfect spooky event for Frankenstein, classic horror, and graphic design enthusiasts this autumn!

Creating some of the most iconic visual elements in modern cinema for the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts film series, Studio MinaLima is an award-winning design studio founded by Miraphora and Eduardo. Since 2015, they have reimagined beloved tales in their MinaLima Classics series of deluxe illustrated and interactive books, including Peter Pan, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass, and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Their adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein will add a tenth book to the collection exploring a new genre and marking an exciting new creative chapter for Studio MinaLima.
