🥾 5½ miles 🥾 Easy 🥾 Leader: Michelle 🥾Starting from Wigginton Pond we leave the village and walk through farmland and quiet country lanes towards Moorlands Nature Reserve. We take some time to explore this former Edwardian woodland garden where hopefully many of the rhododendrons and azaleas will be in flower. After leaving Moorlands we continue our circuit before skirting the edge of York City Football Club's training ground on our way back towards Wigginton.
🅿️ On-street parking on Westfield Lane and surrounding streets
🚌 First 1/1A bus from York station at 17:28 to Wigginton, regular return buses until late
🍺 We will head to the pub after the walk for refreshments
🐶 Unfortunately this walk is not suitable for dogs as we go through a nature reserve
