If you love wild swimming, Glamping, walking and sauna, this is a joyous weekend retreat for women.
Join us in beautiful North Yorkshire for this 2 night retreat. From our base at a Wigwam site near York, we will enjoy two different stunning open water swimming venues.
Emma & Katie will guide you on a beautiful hike from our luxury campground. We will visit Pool Bridge Farm where there are several different lakes to swim in. We will also have time in the lakeside saunas and a picnic lunch in the beautiful grounds or in the on site cafe. We will visit another local lake for a swim and there is an option to add an adrenaline filled inflatable water park session to this visit (£20 supplement)
Our group will have exclusive use of the whole of a Glamping campsite set in 6 acres of native woodland. The accommodation is in ‘Wigwams’, all of which have a stunning lakeside view.
Each heated wigwam has two beds, ensuite shower and toilet facilities plus a small kitchen area and a deck overlooking the lake. Breakfast and then a BBQ dinner in the evening, which is served with wine, are both included in the cost of the retreat. We will feed you hearty & healthy meals to fuel you for the days ahead!
Lunch is purchased either at the cafe at Pool Bridge Farm by yourself, or you can pack a picnic.
2 nights dinner, bed, breakfast and activities (aqua park is a £20 supplement) is £370 per person.
A single supplement to have a Wigwam to yourself is £250.
If you are travelling alone but are happy to share with another Pretty Gritty lady, please let us know and we will aim to find you a room buddy!
Terms and conditions -
To secure your space on this retreat we require a non refundable £150 deposit. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the retreat and you will receive a reminder. Once the balance is due and a reminder has been sent, you have 7 days to make this payment. Once the balance has been paid it is non-refundable.
If the trip is not able to go ahead in 2026 due to reasons outside of our control, We would move the trip forward by one year to the same dates or as close as possible. In this instance, you will have the option of a refund or to transfer the monies paid to the same retreat the following year, or to a different Pretty Gritty retreat with availability. Please bear in mind that the initial deposit is non-refundable if it is you that decides to cancel.
It is advisable to have a travel insurance policy that covers you for cancellation, for example if you are unable to join us on the retreat due to illness. Please provide us with your emergency contact details prior to our departure & inform us of any health conditions that may affect your ability to participate in any activities on the retreat. Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Some of the activities such as wild swimming come with a degree of risk. Therefore we will send you a disclaimer to sign ahead of the retreat.
