Mickinders Valley Day Trip

Highlights of the Trip:

Scenic Landscapes: Traverse the enchanting moorlands leading up to Mackinder's Camp situated at an altitude of approximately 4200 meters. The trail offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and the Teleki Valley. ​

HIKE CENTRAL – NYERI

Wildlife Encounters: Experience the diverse flora and fauna unique to Mount Kenya's ecosystem.​

Preparation and Essentials:

Attire: Dress in layers to accommodate varying temperatures. Waterproof clothing and sturdy hiking boots are recommended.​

Essentials: Carry sufficient water (at least 3 liters) energy snacks a hat sunscreen and any personal medications.​

Fitness Level: This hike is moderately challenging. Regular physical activity prior to the trip is advisable to ensure an enjoyable experience.​
