About this Event
Cut, Drill, and Thrill!
Why carve pumpkins when you can carve metal into scary shapes?
Get into the Halloween spirit by learning to slice, cope, and drill steel like a pro!
You'll use drills, angle grinders, and cutting tools of all kinds to prepare metal pieces for welding and fabrication. Whether you're dreaming up a haunted metal masterpiece or just want to get comfortable with the tools of the trade, this is your chance to unleash your inner fabricator. We will focus primarily on working with mild steel in thicknesses from 29 gauge to 1/4".
Perfect for beginners or rusty returners, this class covers safe and effective use of the most common tools to prep and shape metal especially if you're considering getting into welding and taking our welding class later this year
