Metal 2 The Masses Heat 4! 🤘20 Bands will be competing for a chance to win a coveted slot on The New Blood Stage at this years Bloodstock Festival! 🤘
Preliminary Heats are 50% Crowd Vote and 50% Judges Panel Vote!
Each paid entry will receive a voting chip; Voting will open once the last Band have played their Set! 🎸
2 Bands will qualify for the Semi-Finals in May! 🤩

The competing bands for Heat 4:
Th3orist:
Forming in late 2018, Th3orist are a technical, melodic Metalcore band based in Wigan. Their sound is large but intricate, with heavy driving riffs and soaring melodies. They always provide a high energy live show that is memorable. For fans of; Architects, Novelists, Spiritbox and The Devil Wears Prada.
Half Awake Eyes:
Half Awake Eyes are a four piece Alternative Metal band from Glasgow, formed in late 2024. Known for their blend of crushing riffs, intricate rhythm work and dynamic vocals, they create music that balances atmosphere and intensity. Influenced by modern Prog and Post-Metal, the band focus on feel, space and storytelling over constant heaviness, aiming to deliver immersive, emotionally driven songs.
Swole Castrati:
The perfect band? The antidote to AI?
A live situation to see at any rate, Swole Castrati veer from speed to swing and from chaos to crunch with enjoyment stamped into their mission statement.
Knim:
Knim are a fantasy based Progressive Rock band based in West Yorkshire with links to Lancashire. They regale their tales through choppy riffs, atmospheric sounds and fantastical lyrics.
