- Raises awareness and mental health literacy
- Reduces stigma around mental ill health
- Encourages attendees to start a conversation with a person who may be experiencing a mental health issue
- Gives attendees key skills to aide a person experiencing a mental health issue
Who should attend? All staff working with students. All staff interested in promoting mental wellbeing. All staff interested in becoming a Qualified Mental Health First Aider.
Everyone who completes the course receives a copy of the Higher Education MHFA manual which is an excellent reference and support resource.
